A new ban wave is underway for Red Dead Online & cheating mod menus are being detectedĪs these new fixes were deployed the company has taken further steps of banning any suspected players of cheating in Red Dead Online, Tez has also stated a popular mod menu South, is now being detected within the game’s anti-cheat engine – therefore expect a boat of a load of cheaters with a nice slap of bans in the coming days and weeks. This 9 digital number can be accessed anytime through a mod menu or using inspect element on the Social Club’s official website – this key was used to abuse both game’s clients to force join a player’s session without an invitation, which as stated above has been officially addressed for Red Dead Online. What’s a Rockstar ID?Ī Rockstar ID is attached to everyone’s Social Club account, once you’re signed up to the Social Club, it automatically generates a random 9 digit number which stays attached to your account forever and cannot be changed at this time. It’s currently unknown if these fixes will carry over to GTA Online – it’s more likely something Rockstar could be addressing at the time of writing.

Per Rockstar’s most prominent community member, TezFunz2 on Twitter stated that Red Dead Online’s patch from the week of 25th of April that a handful of address issues that enabled cheaters to use a Rockstar ID (see more details later on what this means), to force join any player’s session – this problem mostly affected content creators which caused them to be harassed on a daily basis.
